n the event of a severe fire, against the formation of a negative or positive pressure
effect on the curtain as a general fire movement (the curtain comes off by bursting),
the curtain system facilitates the movement of the curtain during landing and take

• By using a soft galvanized "T" profile on the lower skirt of the curtain, it creates a

BLE Smoke Curtain is based on gravity safety enabled system. FC60
is in full compliance with BS 7346 : Part 3BS 22, Pr EN 1201 O - 1 &
UL 1 OB.
• The fabric arranged for 1 hour is contained in a galvanized, mild steel box
chamber supported by an automatic reel/roller mechanism, UNISTRUT channel
frame and M10 riveting.
• Box Chamber Dimensions: 31 O mm x 180 mm
• Operation is provided by a group control panel that can control 6 x 24 V motors.
GKP will be supplied with a battery backup.
• Curtains automatically descend under the force of gravity with the signal from
the fire alarm panel and retract automatically when the signal is removed.
• The lower parts of the curtain are reinforced with weight bars to enable the
curtain to come down with the signal from the fire alarm panel.
These rods also help stabilize the curtain.
