Lindsay Simmons is Of Counsel in the Government industry group, focusing
primarily on government contracts. She practices out of the Firm’s office in
Washington, D.C.
Lindsay represents domestic and international government contractors and subcontractors in connection with all aspects of
the procurement process, from proposal to contract formation and administration and dispute resolution.
A leading government contracts attorney for more than 30 years, Lindsay joined Jackson Kelly in 1991 to head the Firm’s
Government Contracts and Investigations practice group. Her experience covers almost every aspect of government
contracts, most government agencies, and a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defense, telecommunications,
IT, research and development, finance, health care and transportation.
Lindsay routinely appears before administrative, legislative, and judicial bodies at the federal, state and local levels and
conducts compliance training regarding government contracts for clients worldwide.
An adventurer at heart, Lindsay’s work and home life are easier to balance than most, as she’s been able to travel for work
and explore the world at the same time. An avid hiker, she has trekked all over the world.
