Sunrise Taylor Swift Competition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering the Sunrise Taylor Swift Competition (“Competition”), you agree to the following terms and
conditions:
1.
STANDARD TERMS
1.1
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2.
WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1
Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years and older, where the
Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2
Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited
(“Promoter”), Crown Sydney Property Pty Ltd (also known as Crown Sydney) (ABN 12 166 326
861) (the “Sponsor”), and their associated agencies and companies and any prize suppliers are
not eligible to enter.
2.3
In this clause 2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto
spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling.
2.4
If a Prize Winner (“Prize Winner”) is unable to participate in the Prize stipulated in clause 4.1
they will be deemed invalid, and therefore will forfeit the prize in full and a re-judging will take
place as specified in these terms and conditions.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Monday 12th February 2024 at 5.30am (AEDT) and concludes
on Thursday 22nd February at 12.00pm (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 For entry details, viewers must watch the Sunrise program (“the Program”), scheduled to be
broadcast on the Seven Network (“the Network”) between 05:30 AM AEDT to 09:00 AM AEDT
during the Competition Period from Monday 12th February 2024 to Thursday 22nd February,
excluding weekends. There will be a competition segment featured during the Program (or any
replacement program broadcast in the Sunrise timeslot) throughout the competition period,
which will display information on how to enter including the daily codeword.
3.3 For clarity, during the Competition Period, each day there will be a specific codeword required to
be included in entry which will be announced during the Sunrise program scheduled to be
broadcast on the Seven Network between 05:30 AM AEDT to 09:00 AM AEDT, on the dates
stipulated in the table below:

Each daily codeword will be valid until the next codeword is announced during the following
Sunrise broadcast. For an entry to be considered valid, it must stipulate the correct codeword
corresponding to the day in which the entry was received by the Promoter’s database. If the
codeword is incorrect or from a different day, it will render the entry invalid. In the event a
codeword does not go to air, it will be announced on the Sunrise Facebook page.
3.4 COMPETITION ENTRY: In order to enter the Competition, viewers must:
Watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on Seven Network during the Competition Period to obtain the
daily codeword; and
Viewers will be directed to the designated competition page on the Sunrise website
(www.sunrise.com.au) and register their full name, valid codeword, address (including
postcode), a valid email address and telephone number; and
Submit an answer to the competition question, “Tell us in 25 words or less, Why do you want to
see Taylor Swift live?” and;
Tick the check box confirming they are able to attend Taylor Swift on Sunday, 25 February 2024
in Sydney.
3.5 Entries must be received by Thursday 22nd February at 12.00pm (AEDT).
3.6 Entrants can enter as many times as they would like but are only eligible to win one (1) Prize.
3.7 Entrants who have won a Prize in any Sunrise competition in the past 12 months are not eligible
to win a Prize in this competition.
3.8 Clauses 3.5 and 3.6 exclude SA residents who are eligible to win more than one Prize.
3.9 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other
parties.
3.10 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The
Prize winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use their
entries in all media worldwide and the Prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.11 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be
offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to
infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will
be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole
discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.12 Neither the Promoter, Sponsor nor Ansible Pty Ltd are responsible for any data or other
information related to this competition that may be lost or damaged as a result of any computer
software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/
software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.13 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry
will be deemed invalid.
3.
PRIZES
3.1
There will be up to ten (10) prize winners in total throughout the competition period who will
receive one of the following Prizes:

3.2
Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize.
3.3
The Prize Winners must be able to attend the event specified in clause 4.1 and be able to make
their own way to and from the venue.
3.4
Prize inclusions and details are correct as of 5 February 2024, however subject to change
without advance notice.
3.5
The Promoter nor Sponsor does not take any responsibility for any tax consequences or imposts
that arise from the receipt of the Prize. The Prize Winners are advised that tax implications may
arise from their Prize Winning and they should seek independent financial advice prior to
acceptance of their Prize.
3.6
Unless specified, the Prize Winners are responsible for all other expenses incurred including
but not limited to taxes, transport, accommodation, meals, beverages, and items of a personal
nature are the sole responsibility of the entrant.
3.7
Any specified events and tours are subject to availability at the time of booking. Alternatives
may be offered dependent on availability. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter and/or
Sponsor in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal or
greater value.
3.8
Once confirmed in writing, names of those attending are not changeable without incurring
extra fees. The Promoter and Sponsor do not accept responsibility for any fees incurred as a
result of any changes made and these costs will be borne by the Prize Winners.
3.9
To clarify all prize winners, are responsible to organize transfers and cover associated costs for
transport from their residence to the event stipulated in clause 4.1.
3.10
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of
use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
3.11
The Promoter, Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies or any organization or
individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the safety
conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
3.12
The Promoter or Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from
acceptance or redemption of the prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice
should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. The Promoter and Sponsor accept
no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
3.13
In the event that an element of the Prize outlined in Clause 4.1 above is, for any reason,
cancelled, postponed or not available, that element(s) of the Prize will be considered as
forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the Prize. If, for any
reason whatsoever, a Winner does not take an element of their Prize within the time period
stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and

cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
3.14
Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses related to the Prizes
become the responsibility of the Winners. All costs associated with the Prize which are not
expressly stated in these terms and conditions to be included, including but not limited to
additional cost for food, beverage and transportation.
3.15
In participating in Competition, the prize winners agree to participate and co-operate as
required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being
interviewed and photographed. The prize winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-
exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the prize
winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.16
The prize winners agree that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or
photographs to any media or other organization.
3.17
The Prize Winners must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s
request. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize at the Promoter’s sole
discretion.
3.18
Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these
terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.
4.
HOW TO WIN
4.1
There will be up to ten (10) Prize Winners in total throughout the Competition Period. This is a
game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winners.
4.2
For clarity, all valid entries received will be entered into the Prize Judging.
4.3
One (1) Prize Winner will be judged on each date/time stipulated in the table below, Ten (10)
Prize Winners in total, at Seven Network, 8 Central Avenue Eveleigh NSW 2015 Australia. Prize
Winners be judged from all valid entries received (online) prior to the corresponding Winner
Judging.

4.4
All prize winners will be the best valid entries as judged by a panel of representatives appointed
by the Promoter having regard to authenticity, creativity, and originality.
4.5
The prize winners will be contacted by telephone or email within two (2) buisness days of the
winner judging. All prize winner’s names will be published on the Sunrise website within two
(2) business days of judging. The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of a

winner not claiming a Prize on or before Friday 23
rd
February 2024. The alternative winner, if
any, will be notified in writing and by phone on the day of the re-judging and their name
published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of re-judging.
4.6
The Prize Winners may also be announced live on the Sunrise program scheduled to be
broadcast on the Seven Network between 05:30 AM to 09:00 AM AEST from Monday 12

February 2024, excluding the weekend.
4.7
The judges decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence
regarding the result.
4.8
Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
4.9
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners must comply with all the
conditions of use of the Prize and Sponsors requirements. Prizes are subject to Sponsor and
prize suppliers Terms and Conditions.
4.10
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the Promoter or the Sponsor in their absolute discretion.
5.
NO LIABILITY
5.1
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and
in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war,
pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its
absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances
beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the
Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
5.2
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Crown Melbourne Limited, and their associated
agencies and companies will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or
late, lost, or misdirected mail.
5.3
Promoter, Sponsor and prize suppliers are not responsible for any costs associated with
Prize collection.
5.4
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, AAPC Limited, Crown Melbourne Limited & affiliates
and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident,
injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
during the judging;
whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the competition; or
in the participation in any prize;
because of late, lost or misdirected mail;
due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication
of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member,
journalist, other entrants or any other person;
in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion; and
arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer
equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other

person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
5.5
If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes
including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or
any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter and/ or Sponsor which corrupt or affect
the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
5.6
The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at
its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or
production requirements.
5.7
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any
unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct
of the promotion. The Promoter’s and the Sponsor’s legal rights to recover damages or other
compensation from such an offender are reserved.
5.8
Seven Network (Operations) Limited and the Sponsor assume no responsibility for any error,
omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications
line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and
reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
5.9
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any
other causes beyond the control of the Promoter or the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the competition.
5.10
By entering the competition, and by collecting a Prize, Winners acknowledges and accepts that
driving, travel and any other activities comprising the Prize, are inherently dangerous and may
result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. Neither the Promoter
nor the Sponsor or prize supplier are responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather
conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst a Winner is travelling.
It is the responsibility of each Winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at
destinations prior to travel.
6.

6.2
The Sponsor is Crown Sydney Property Pty Ltd (also known as Crown Sydney) (ABN 12 166 326
861) of 1 Barangaroo Avenue Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia.With your express consent to do so, by
opting in via the competition entry form, the Sponsor will handle entrant’s personal information (e.g.,
first name, last name, address, suburb, state, postcode, phone number, email address, date of birth)
in accordance with their privacy policy, which can be accessed at
https://www.crownsydney.com.au/general/rules-policies/privacy-policy. The Sponsor’s Privacy Policy
may be updated from time to time, and it will be the entrant’s responsibility to keep up to date with
any changes to the Privacy Policy. The entrant may at any time, opt out of receiving contact from the
Sponsor by privacymanager@crownsydney.com.au.

Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845

262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting your personal information for the purpose of
conducting and promoting this Competition, including for the purpose of identifying and notifying the
prize winners, prize fulfilment and understanding our audiences. Seven will otherwise handle your
personal information in accordance with Seven’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website at
http://www.sevenwestmedia.com.au/privacy-policies (and which contains information regarding how
you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or make a complaint about our handling of
your personal information). By providing your personal information below, you agree to the terms of
the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Seven may disclose the entrant’s personal
information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and
profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Seven.
In addition, by entering this competition, you consent to Seven using your personal information for the
purpose of Seven and its related entities sending you information regarding programs, products and
services available through them and/ or through their business partners, and to Seven from time to time
sharing your personal information with carefully selected business partners for the purpose of them
