pleasure of viewing Ellen’s professional development over the past 15 months, and I can state

As the Pharmacy Manager of CVS Store, I feel that I know Ellen quite well. She began working
as a Pharmacy Technician in March 2014. Since then, Ellen has completed the CVS Pharmacy
Technician Training program and is currently listed with the State Board of Pharmacy as a
Pharmacy Technician. In this role, she had a considerable amount of responsibilities, and she
handled them effortlessly. She showed her skills to communicate with both customers and
pharmacy staff, and in part due to her dedication and attention to detail, our store saw an increase
in customer satisfaction during this period. Customers like Ellen because she is easy to talk to and
friendly. She is committed to always serving customers within 15 minutes to ensure they get the
best service.
Ellen takes the initiative to identify difficulties and devise solutions. Pharmacy staff likes Ellen
because she knows how the pharmacy system works, understands procedures, and is
knowledgeable about medications. She is very organized and maintains the high quality standards
we expect. Her role necessitates strong communication skills, and she has displayed that she not
only has these skills, but that she also has the capability to inspire respect and collaboration in
teammates. I am able to entrust Ellen to mentor and train junior staff. She recently trained two
hires on pharmacy workflow and how to greet customers. Ellen has shown that she is a very smart
person with a mind well-suited to the world of pharmacy.
Ellen has informed me that she hopes to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy, and I feel that this is an
appropriate choice for her. Based on my observations, she clearly has the interest to excel in this
field, and based on her performance, she clearly has the ability to achieve success. I therefore
