International Graduate Financial Information 2024-2025
The Office of International Services (OIS) has prepared this document to inform you of the financial
requirements to receive a student visa document (Form I-20 or Form DS-2019).
After you have been admitted to your program and accepted your offer of admission, your academic
department will notify OIS. The federal government requires OIS to verify that you can support yourself
financially in the United States during your academic program before we can create your Form I-20 or DS-
2019.
OIS will contact you via email and request you to upload digital versions of financial documentation,
along with other information, via the My OIS
online portal.
Do not send financial documentation to OIS until after you have been contacted directly by OIS about
your admission to Pitt. Do not send personal financial documentation to your school.

Review the Financial Documentation Requirements on page 1.
Find your specific program’s estimated cost of attendance on pages 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.

final two years. This deposit is a requirement of the School of Medicine.
The current escrow amount for two years of medical education at the University of Pittsburgh
